There comes a time in life where you realize there is more to it then material things, experiences matter more. Follow the journey as I explore the world and learn to travel full time.

Selling everything we owned was a long and daunting process I will admit. We realized quickly how much had accumulated. Seeking a minimalist life was always a goal but had obviously not transpired over the ten years we were at our previous place. We luckily were renting so we had one less large thing to do. Selling both vehicles and having a moving sale was an arduous task at best. We set our date and started our journey living out of just two carryon bags each, this was very difficult for me as I always packed for every possible outcome. Not anymore, I am learning just how little you need to go about the routines and how they change when you are on the move on a regular basis. Also, most things are readily available in other countries as well.

It seems people have a common misconception that being nomadic means being on vacation 24/7. This is totally not realistic; it's still doing the normal stuff in day-to-day life while being in different places to have more interesting options when we do go out and about. There is quite a bit of work that is involved in this as well. Researching and booking all the travel needs is a job in itself. Passport requirements in each country, time zone changes, accommodations, food, culture histories, airline requirements, ground transportation options, leaving reviews, and now writing this blog! That's just a short summary of what's involved.
